Job Summary
Sr. HR Business Partner at PitchBook (Morningstar company) responsible for partnering with leaders across business units to develop HR strategies, coach managers on employee relations, support talent programs and performance processes, assist with headcount planning and compensation, diagnose engagement and performance issues, conduct investigations, and manage mobility and visa processes for domestic and international transfers. Requires Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years HR experience, supports HR compliance (FLSA, FMLA, HIPAA, EEO, ADA, SOX), and legal authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship. Role is in-office, Seattle, WA, full-time, five days a week, with comprehensive benefits and an annual base salary of $140,000-$160,000 plus bonus and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of progressive responsibility in HR roles
- Experience supporting a company or business unit with at least 500 employees
- Experience supporting employees and leaders across multiple states and jurisdictions; experience in the UK and Singapore is a plus
- Superior knowledge of US employment law including state-specific laws in WA, CA, and NY; international employment law in the UK and Singapore is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
