Job Summary
Partner with business leaders to understand organizational goals, develop HR strategies, and provide strategic consultation on performance management, talent development, and compensation. Manage complex employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance across employment laws. Analyze HR data to drive insights for process improvements and workforce planning, while championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Lead broader HR projects, collaborate with outside counsel on litigation and immigration matters, and mentor other HR Business Partners. Respond to unemployment inquiries and participate in organizational committees. Full-time role at 1 Hospital Plaza, Stamford CT.
Required Qualifications
- At least five years of demonstrated experience working in a Human Resources generalist capacity
- Prior Healthcare experience
- Knowledge of Human Resource regulations including: EEO/AA, ADA, FLSA, etc.
- High level of competency with computer software, hardware, and Internet
- Knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
- Knowledge of HR databases
- Experience with Oracle
- Bachelor's Degree with a major in Business, Human Resources, Organization Development, Healthcare Administration or other related field
