Job Summary
Senior HR Business Partner provides strategic and operational HR support to the Family and Social Services Administration’s Division of Family Resources. The role delivers consultation on employee relations, policy and procedures, classification/compensation, and training development, while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Located in downtown Indianapolis, IN with occasional travel to DFR offices statewide; exempt position with potential for variable hours beyond standard pay periods. Requires broad knowledge of HR management, policy interpretation, and ability to partner with agency leadership to advance organizational goals and maintain a positive workplace culture.
Required Qualifications
- A degree is not required
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Experience in HR operations, policy development, and employee relations
- Ability to develop and present training programs
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in leadership roles
