Sr. HR Business Partner

Job Summary
Develop and implement people strategies by partnering with respective managers to support a defined team or location at the Pinetops, NC manufacturing facility. Execute end-to-end HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, staffing, compensation, and performance management, while facilitating change management initiatives and driving continuous improvement. Represent HR in the business to establish strong relationships with all business leaders and employees, ensuring an effective overall HR contribution and value-add. This 100% onsite role requires prior on-site experience and work authorization for the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline
- 10 or more years of HR experience
- 5+ years of HR experience in a large manufacturing environment

- solid expertise in compensation
- solid expertise in performance management
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of U.S. employment law and compliance
- This is a 100% on-site position; prior on-site experience is required
- Candidates must possess work authorization to work for ABB in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Workday HR systems
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and influencing skills
- Ability to effectively interact with managers, supervisors, and employees at all levels of the organization
- Experience working in a non-union environment and conducting employee investigations
- Proven ability to deliver HR solutions through collaboration with both on-site HR teams and centralized service teams
