Job Summary
Senior Health & Safety leadership role responsible for developing and executing PMI site Health & Safety strategy aligned with global standards and regulatory requirements. Leads the design and continuous improvement of H&S systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001), drives risk assessments and audits, ensures contractor/vendor compliance with PMI sustainability standards, oversees training programs for all employees and leadership, owns KPI reporting and data-driven decision making, and collaborates with engineering, facilities, and operations to embed H&S into capital projects and operations. Requires a bachelor’s in a related field and 3+ years in manufacturing/industrial EHS, with strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA frameworks and proficiency with EHS software; CSP/ASP strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in environmental engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of progressive experience in environmental health and safety roles within manufacturing or industrial settings
- Demonstrated expertise in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 standards
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead cross-functional initiatives, and manage complex projects
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, and exposure to EHS management platforms (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP) strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
