Job Summary
Define test requirements and drive Design for Test (DFT) methodologies for complex electromechanical and robotic medical device systems. Develop test strategies across EVT through production, establish release criteria, and create automated test equipment using Python, LabVIEW, and PXI platforms. Manage external vendors, lead project schedules, and deploy scalable manufacturing test processes while validating systems via FAT, SAT, and MSA studies. This role shapes manufacturing test strategy early in the product lifecycle for next-generation surgical robotics platforms, ensuring robust, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in hardware test engineering, manufacturing test engineering, or automated test equipment development
- Python, LabVIEW, or equivalent test software platforms
- Validation methodologies (MSA, GR&R, FAT, SAT)
- MES integration, data analysis, and manufacturing process development
- Vendor and project management
- May require up to 10% of domestic and/or international travel
- The attendance policy required for this role is fully Onsite
