Job Summary
Senior Geoscience Technician provides expertise in geoscience software, data management, and complex data analyses to support corporate exploration and BD teams; responsibilities include maintaining geoscience datasets and data management systems, loading and managing geophysics data, coordinating data flow among geoscientists and vendors, installing and maintaining software systems, training new users, recommending design improvements, and monitoring new technologies for improved data and reporting methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Technical associate degree or related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field or industry
- Advanced level of skills with Microsoft Office, ESRI ArcGIS and/or Global Mapper, and geologic and geophysical software applications
