Job Summary
Migrate ETL jobs from SQL Server and Teradata to GCP Big Query using Talend, while analyzing stored procedures to transfer business logic. Schedule and monitor platform processes via Apache Airflow, optimize Big Query datasets, and support data engineering and reporting teams during the on-prem to cloud migration. Requires GCP, Big Query, Talend, and Python expertise for long-term contract work with two days onsite monthly in Irving, TX or Ashburn, VA.

- ETL tools including SSIS, Teradata BTQ, Talend
- data platforms: GCP Big Query, Teradata, AWS, SQL server
- GCP Platform, services including Big Query, Cloud storage, IAM
- data set creation in Big Query
- optimizing data sets in Big Query
- understanding, analyzing SQL server stored procedures and packages
- Python based ETL
- Teradata batch scripts
- cloud database operations, tools and technologies that are required for on-prem to cloud migration
- programming/scripting/coding (SQL, Python, etc.)
- knowledge of relational databases
