Job Summary
Senior Natural Gas Scheduler responsible for balancing nominations across company and third-party pipelines and storage facilities; manages gas nominations, minimizes imbalances, monitors daily volumes, and coordinates with Transportation Manager and Contract Administration. Requires experience with Nominations and Balancing, EBBs, pipeline tariffs, and Excel; includes after-hours and weekend on-call; relocation available.
Required Qualifications
- College Degree REQUIRED
- Minimum 3 years of experience covering all phases of natural gas scheduling REQUIRED
- Knowledge of the natural gas pipeline grid REQUIRED
- Experience with pipeline system balancing procedures REQUIRED
- Understanding volume imbalances, OBA’s, transport statements, pipeline tariffs, and EBB applications REQUIRED
- Understanding of operational issues associated with larger, FERC regulated systems having various interstate and intrastate pipeline connectivity REQUIRED
- Understanding of pipeline operations including pressures, flow rates and capacity issues REQUIRED
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel REQUIRED
