Job Summary
Design and deliver large-scale applications and data pipelines using modern cloud services and open-source frameworks. Own backend and RESTful API design in Go or Python, build full-stack web applications with TypeScript and React, and manage data persistence using NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Partner with architects, ML engineers, and data engineers on requirements and architecture, then deploy services and pipelines via CI/CD, Kubernetes, and AWS while optimizing cloud infrastructure for cost and reliability. Uphold quality through testing, code review, and operational practices, mentoring peers on engineering standards. Work independently with minimal direction to support petabyte-scale sensor datasets and move the Autonomy organization faster.
Required Qualifications
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience
- at least 6 years of industry experience without a degree
- Strong experience in a backend language like Python, Golang or Java
- Demonstrated experience of full stack application development
- Relevant experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and web frameworks
- Hands-on experience with databases such as MongoDB and Postgres
- NoSQL at scale
- Track record of owning features or services end-to-end and working independently with minimal day-to-day direction
- Strong communication, collaboration, and structured problem-solving across technical and product stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- React preferred
- Familiarity with end-to-end ML workflows and the production lifecycle of ML data (ingestion, labeling, training, evaluation)
- Experience with AWS, MLOps, and data/ML pipelines in cloud environments
