Job Summary
Senior Full-Stack MTS to drive end-to-end AI systems across Cloud and Edge, spanning data pipelines, model development, evaluation, and deployment for AI-powered products. Design scalable, production-grade pipelines for real-time perception, multimodal understanding, and decision-making; deploy models across cloud and edge devices; optimize for hardware acceleration (GPU/NPU/DSP) and edge deployment. Collaborate with research scientists, hardware/firmware, and product teams to translate research into robust, production-ready systems supporting computer vision, NLU, GenAI, and multimodal LLMs. Lead technical direction, contribute to design docs and platform strategy, and operate in a hybrid Brussels, Belgium environment with in-person collaboration Tue-Fri and remote Mondays. Requires advanced degrees and substantial industry experience in distributed systems / cloud-based ML pipelines, with strong Python/C++ programming and experience in PyTorch/TensorFlow.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years (L8) or 10+ years (L9) of industry experience building production systems
- Strong programming skills in Python/C++
- Experience with modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end systems from concept to production
- Deep expertise in one or more areas: distributed systems or cloud-based ML pipelines, latency/cost/deployment optimization
