Sr Full Stack Engineer (Python/Django/Angular)

Job Summary
Lead day-to-day software engineering operations for dealer and consumer-facing automotive applications by owning projects from idea to done with minimal oversight. Develop professional applications using Python, Django, and Angular while building self-contained, reusable, and testable modules. Manage code changes in Git, orchestrate agentic development, and maintain responsive user interfaces across mobile, tablet, and desktop. Collaborate with QA to troubleshoot complex issues, write efficient SQL queries, and implement CI/CD automations. Work asynchronously to document processes and code, ensuring best practices are championed across data, API, and UI domains.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing professional applications using Python and Django (Python 3.12, Django 5.2)
- 5+ years of experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL
- 5+ years building Angular SPAs (Angular 20+)
- Experience with PHP, preferably the Slim framework (PHP 8.4, Slim 4.15)
- Building and implementing user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
- SaaS platform and CI/CD experience
- Experience with Swagger or other code documentation tools
- Building self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
- Orchestrated agentic development experience
- Building responsive user interfaces for mobile, tablet, and desktop
- Ability to work with QA to quickly identify and resolve tough-to-troubleshoot issues
- Comfort building new features as well as maintaining and refactoring existing code
- Ability to manage code changes in Git version control
- Ability to write clearly and concisely and document processes and code
- Ability to communicate and develop asynchronously

Desired Qualifications
- Ideally has deep experience in Django, MySQL, and Angular
- some experience in PHP (Slim framework a bonus)
- Ability to write efficient SQL queries using MySQL / PostgreSQL
- Automated end-to-end test experience
- Experience with transactional email systems
- Experience with messaging platforms like Twilio
- Ability to create and troubleshoot CI/CD automations
- Ability to create and troubleshoot Docker containers and understand containerized deployment systems
- Experience using Figma, Trello, Jira, Confluence, GitLab
