Job Summary
Senior Full Stack Developer to support the AWIPS/NWS contract. Lead frontend development using modern JavaScript frameworks to architect responsive, data-rich UIs for meteorological visualization; build and optimize geospatial visualization components and integrate with backend meteorological data services via RESTful APIs and GraphQL. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, architects, and stakeholders in an Agile environment; implement automated testing strategies (unit/integration/e2e) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. Deploy frontend solutions in AWS cloud services (CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, Lambda) with a focus on performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership on frontend development best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
