Job Summary
Lead FPGA architecture and development activities, including designing advanced data filtering mechanisms for high-speed applications. Provide technical leadership for simulation, verification, and UVM test benching while supporting hardware integration and performance optimization. Manage the test plan implementation and mentor junior engineering staff within Agile Scrum leadership activities. Maintain a security clearance and work remotely in Eastern or Central time zones. This role supports Owl Cyber Defense's mission to protect critical networks through cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of FPGA and embedded systems experience
- Expert knowledge scripting and coding
- Experience with advanced FPGA verification methodologies and Test Benching
- Expertise in simulation (Xcellium)
- Familiarity with linting programs (DVT)
- Strong understanding of AXI, HSS, Ethernet protocols
- Strong understanding of embedded systems
- Strong leadership and troubleshooting skills
- Candidates must be able to obtain/maintain a security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience with SystemVerilog[RT1]
- Experience with Xilinx/AMD Versal and Ultrascale+ devices
