Job Summary
Maintain customer computers and networks to ensure front-end systems collect, process, and transmit vital information for national decision makers. Optimize and maintain assigned customer accesses while supporting data and voice communications technologies including DNR, DNI, and advanced IP protocols. Perform basic troubleshooting on Linux command-line systems and manage FORNSAT experience for survey systems and dataflow configuration. Support 24x7 mission-essential operations with flexible shift schedules ranging from day to mid shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in and demonstrated knowledge of SIGINT development analytic support
- Within the last 7 years, at least 5 of the years of experience must have been with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, and/or internet communications
- Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system, to include use of the command-line
- FORNSAT experience
- Front-end collection systems, to include survey systems
- DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, including FOP configuration
- Basic troubleshooting experience
- Ability to follow basic SOPs and update documentation accordingly
- Familiarity with commercial SATCOM technologies
- Must be flexible with shift schedules
- Shifts range from day shift (0545-1345), swing shift (1345-2145) and mid shift (2145-0545) including weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Basic Communications Signals Collection and Processing Course (450)
- Intermediate Communications Signals Analysis Course (451)
- Scripting experience (Bash, Shell and/or Python)
- Familiarity with Apache NiFi
- Basic knowledge of network protocols
