Job Summary
Senior Flight Software Engineer responsible for developing fault-tolerant, safety-critical flight and ground software for spaceflight systems. Design and implement state machines for station subsystems, code flight software algorithms with subject-matter experts, interface with high-fidelity simulators and hardware-in-the-loop devices, and develop command/telemetry software. Build unit and integrated tests and establish a continuous integration framework in a Linux environment. Requires embedded systems experience and familiarity with Git, CMake, GNU tools, and satellite communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or other engineering discipline
- 5+ years of experience coding in C++ or Python
