Sr. Fixed Asset Accountant

Create and monitor systems of controls for fixed asset recordation, assign tag numbers, and record acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system. Track project cost compilations, reconcile subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger, and calculate depreciation for all assets. Investigate potential obsolescence, conduct periodic impairment reviews and physical counts, and prepare audit schedules for external inquiries. Represent the company during government audits involving fixed assets and track expenditures against the capital budget.
