Job Summary
Sr Fire Protection Engineer leads design and life-safety aspects for LA28, designing fire sprinkler and alarm systems, developing life-safety code compliance plans, and preparing construction documents and cost estimates for large, complex projects. Responsibilities include acting as design lead for fire protection, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, reviewing calculations and drawings for accuracy, and guiding project budgeting and scheduling. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees in fire protection, extensive project management experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a strong understanding of fire protection codes and industry standards. Office locations are Los Angeles or Orange, CA with a hybrid work arrangement; frequent site visits and collaboration with a dynamic engineering team are anticipated.
