Job Summary
Senior Financial Reporting Analyst at Polaris responsible for external reporting including SEC filings (10-K/10-Q/11-K/8-K/S-D), supporting quarterly earnings materials with Investor Relations, maintaining internal controls over financial reporting, coordinating external audits, and assisting ESG disclosures. Acts as a subject matter expert on U.S. GAAP, prepares and reviews accounting policies, monitors new standards, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting. Requires CPA certification (or active pursuit), a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, and at least 2 years of relevant experience; hybrid work arrangement in Medina, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- Active CPA certification required (or actively pursuing)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience required
- Public accounting and/or SEC reporting experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial accounting concepts
- Familiarity with ESG or sustainability reporting frameworks is a plus
- Understanding of PCAOB standards, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), COSO frameworks, and internal control concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and experience with XBRL and SEC EDGAR filing systems is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, attention to detail, and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across a matrixed organization
- Minimal travel expected

- Starting pay range for Minnesota is $80,000 to $111,000 per year
