Job Summary
Senior-level finance professional responsible for leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting at Susser Bank. Responsibilities include leading the budgeting and re-forecasting process, collaborating with budget holders to develop annual budgets and monitor performance, administering financial planning and reporting systems, preparing monthly/quarterly reports with variance analysis, developing ad-hoc financial models (ROI, product/project evaluations), supporting month-end close, and assisting with bank-wide incentive compensation planning. Requires a Bachelor’s in finance or accounting, 3-5 years of financial reporting experience in a financial institution, and strong Excel; experience with Axiom and Cognos is preferred; includes leadership, project management, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting
- 3 – 5 years of financial reporting experience in a financial institution preferred
- Understanding of purpose of financial statements, KPI’s, and margin planning
- Experience using Axiom or a similar financial reporting system preferred
- Experience using Cognos or similar system preferred
- Must demonstrate strong Excel skills
