Job Summary
Senior Pricing Analyst will lead key pricing activities for annual rate formulation, including modeling, benchmarking, and developing pricing tools. Responsibilities include preparing firm-wide rate communications, managing change control with Billing, auditing rates, leading portions of the annual rate work streams, and defining scope for budgets and AFAs. The role requires collaboration with attorneys and professional staff, data analysis and quantitative modeling, cross-functional process improvements, and ability to produce accurate, timely results under deadline. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI/ERP tools, with project management experience and strong client-facing communication skills are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4 year University/College is required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 4+ years of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) experience or related experience involving data analysis, rates/pricing and substantial quantitative modeling
- Effective communication with internal/external clients including attorneys, management, and vendors
- Strong MS Excel (Pivot Table, V/HLOOKUP), MS Access, SQL, Word and PowerPoint; experience with BI/ERP tools
- Experience with budgeting/system data quality improvements; project management is highly desired
