Job Summary
Analyze performance drivers, support pipeline reviews, and ensure disciplined execution against revenue and margin targets for the Molecular Biology Business Unit. Partner directly with the Director of Cloning & Services through actionable financial insights, KPI tracking, and revenue analysis. Collaborate on developing monthly forecasts, refining the Annual Operating Plan, and translating business strategies into financial outcomes for the 5-Year Strategic Plan. Deliver price, volume, mix, and customer analytics to inform commercial decisions while defining and monitoring critical performance metrics. Build and enhance financial models to support investment decisions and scenario planning, leveraging systems to automate reporting and streamline analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business-related discipline
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to connect financial results to operational drivers and business strategy
- Demonstrated ownership mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Hyperion Planning, SmartView, or comparable financial systems
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information for executive audiences
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and functions
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-evolving environment with a willingness to embrace new challenges
