Job Summary
Develop comprehensive financial analyses for Department Chairs, identifying trends, root causes, and recommendations to support quarterly performance presentations. Prepare client/matter pricing models, engagement analyses, and revenue optimization strategies, including consulting on Alternative Fee Arrangements and monitoring project budgets. Perform lateral hiring analyses to determine billing rates, billable targets, and compensation structures, while reviewing monthly reports and calculating annual bonuses. Collaborate across departments to optimize firm growth and ensure accurate budgeting. Maintain open communication with the Manager, Financial Analysis, and present complex data as actionable insights to partners and senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar business discipline
- Five plus years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Proficiency in PowerBI
- Experience with Elite 3E and Xcelerate/Advanced Financial Solutions
- Programming with SQL or Python
- Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing conditions
- Critical thinking with superior ability to analyze and conclude
- Confidential handling of sensitive information
- Proven ability to communicate and present complex ideas and concepts across all levels of the organization
- Ability to work well under pressure with patience, diplomacy, and a high stress tolerance
