Sr. Financial Analyst - LED FP&A

Job Summary
Develop, standardize, and improve regular analyses and reports to share business and financial insights, supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and budgeting processes. Build and update dashboards and business intelligence tools by data-mining various systems, while independently investigating data issues to identify root causes and improve data quality. Collaborate with business partners to generate assumptions for strategic decision support and partner with LED teams to set and deliver annual and long-range business plans. Analyze transactional data to identify anomalies and recommend accruals or reversals, translating inputs into financial assumptions for revenue, FX, and operating expense forecasts. This role serves as the main finance partner for the LED Marketing function within the Lab Equipment Division, utilizing tools like Power BI, Cognos, and Salesforce to project future trends and ensure accurate reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business related field
- 3+ years relevant experience in finance
- Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organization
- Proficient user of systems (i.e. CMR, Hyperion Planning, Power BI, Cognos, Salesforce, excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to summarize and present information in a concise and effective manner
- Attention to detail and consistently delivering high quality work
- Ability to learn quickly, meet deadlines and multi-task in deadline driven environment
- Good understanding of business processes and operations & financial controls, able to identify control weaknesses in existing process and recommend mitigation actions
