Job Summary
Senior FP&A Analyst partnering with multiple Finance functions (Sales Finance, Marketing Finance, Integrated Supply Chain Finance, Manufacturing Finance and Revenue Management) to profitably grow the Potato business. Drive value creation through financial review of pricing, trade and initiatives and support assessment of innovation. Develop and implement financial analyses (product/mix profitability, operating income bridges, trend reporting, volume analysis). Prepare quarterly forecasts, month-end reviews, and annual NA budget; create presentations for Senior Finance Leadership; ensure accuracy of assumptions, data, and risks/opportunities; support finance digital transformation with automated Power BI reporting; provide ad hoc financial analysis. Based in Toronto, Ontario or Florenceville-Bristol, New Brunswick. Knowledge of CPA/MBA preferred; 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting; CPA or MBA a plus; experience with Power BI; experience in a CPG/food manufacturing environment is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA or MBA a plus
- 3+ years of progressive and related experience in financial analysis, financial planning, or accounting
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Business acumen: can explain the story behind the numbers and recommend solutions
- Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Results-oriented, hands-on, highly motivated, and autonomous
- Experience with CPG or other food manufacturing companies strongly preferred
