Job Summary
Review monthly financial summaries, conduct variance analysis, and discuss highlights with business partners. Drive annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for assigned groups while creating flexible, value-added reporting for senior managers. Lead profitability model development, contingency planning, and cost reduction strategies using quantitative analysis of P&L, payroll, and resource usage. Consult globally with internal partners to make informed decisions meeting company financial targets, translating complex data into actionable recommendations. Perform administrative reviews of consolidated plans and educate teams on financial best practices and reporting tools.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4-7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Heavy emphasis on operational finance and management reporting experience
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate variances, uncover root causes, and recommend practical, data-driven solutions
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, synthesize complex data, and develop actionable recommendations for business partners
- Customer service and relationship-building orientation
- Ability to multi-task
- Proven ability to translate financial information to a non-financial oriented audience
- Ability to work independently (self-motivated)
- Candidates located in the New York City or Seattle/Bellevue areas are strongly preferred
- North America non-remote employees are required to come into the office 3 days a week
