Job Summary
Senior FP&A analyst role focused on R&D spend and ROI. Responsibilities include budgeting/forecasting for R&D projects, tracking time and cost across Business Units, analyzing resource deployment trends, presenting insights to executives, building labor/financial models linking person/time to rollups, developing business case inputs for planning decisions, coordinating with accounting and fixed assets on capital projects, and crafting budgeting/deck materials for leadership. Supports internal and external reporting, distributes monthly performance reports, and provides data for investor communications. Requires collaboration with senior leaders and the ability to translate non-financial tools into financial metrics; proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint; comfort with AI-enabled operational transformations; strong communication and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in FP&A, private equity, or a similar role
- Experience with time-tracking tools, Jira, and/or similar; ability to translate those non-financial tools into financial metrics
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with an ability to balance multiple activities
- Aptitude for utilizing AI and partnering in operational transformations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Curiosity, resourcefulness, flexibility, and a willingness to collaborate
- Self-starter who takes initiative; confident under pressure and meets deadlines
