Job Summary
Track global capital project spend across the portfolio, ensuring alignment between financial systems and reporting tools. Perform variance analysis on actual versus forecasted capital spend to identify trends, cost overruns, and savings opportunities. Produce monthly capital reporting packages with commentary on drivers and risks, while consolidating stakeholder inputs for the annual capital budget and long-range plan. Analyze historical data to improve forecasting accuracy and create dashboards in Power BI for visibility into spend and project status. Collaborate with IT, Real Estate, and FP&A stakeholders to develop multi-year capital plans. This role directly impacts Free Cash Flow by optimizing capital expenditures to ensure strategic investments in tech modernization and office space.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics
- 3+ years working experience in Real Estate/Finance/Accounting/Business
- Strong working knowledge of financial planning
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources
- ability to synthesize insights
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced)
- familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, FCCS)
- familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Strong attention to detail
