Job Summary
Review vendor payment requests for policy compliance and approvals, then prepare payment advices, process foreign currency transactions, and reconcile vendor accounts and aging statements. Account for inward remittances, verify cash physically, and prepare weekly fund positions while flagging transfer requests. Ensure service level agreements are met, close vendor-wise provisions monthly, and prepare audit schedules. Monitor regulatory changes in India, update process documents, and lead process improvements to strengthen controls. Prepare monthly dashboards for business support.
Required Qualifications
- College degree in accounting
- 4-6 years' experience
- Good knowledge of Accounting and Accounts Payable function in a global environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of ERP preferably SAP
- Knowledge of relevant Indirect taxes like VAT; Service Tax; TDS; Customs; FEMA , GST etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Qualifications like Chartered Accountants; Company Secretary; Cost Accountant or other financial qualifications
