Job Summary
Senior Financial Accounting Associate to oversee treasury management, cash reconciliations, vendor invoicing, accounts receivable/collections, and program-level budgeting/forecasting. You’ll partner with program managers to build and maintain financial reports and dashboards, support external reporting, and contribute to budgeting models. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience, GAAP knowledge, and strong MS Office/finance tools experience. Location-based in Oakland, CA with in-person work; salary around $140k–$150k annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience in government, utilities, or the energy sector preferred
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Independent work ethic and ownership of deliverables
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
