Job Summary
Senior Finance Manager responsible for leading accounting and finance operations across a multi-entity environment, supervising and developing finance personnel, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and compliance with FAR, CAS, and related regulations. Key duties include overseeing monthly/quarterly/annual closes, leading budgeting and forecasting, supervising project controls and revenue recognition, maintaining accounting policies and internal controls, developing indirect rate structures in line with FAR Part 31 and CAS, coordinating external audits and regulatory reviews, and managing banking relationships and cash reporting. Emphasis on governance, process improvement, and cross-functional leadership to support government contract accounting and strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including management responsibility
- Demonstrated experience in government contracting
- Strong knowledge of FAR, CAS, GAAP, and government contract accounting requirements
- Experience managing audits, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Expertise in Deltek Costpoint is essential
