Job Summary
Drive consistent execution of brand visual standards across assigned districts to elevate the athlete's experience and strengthen business performance. Evaluate store KPIs to make commercial decisions that improve sales, margin, and productivity through targeted training, game plan integrity, and seasonal product flow optimization. Lead and develop a team of Field Visual leaders, providing direct management, coaching, and succession planning to build a capable field organization. Collaborate with critical partners to solve store-specific visual challenges, ensuring updates maintain field leadership and CSC visibility. Translate visual concepts into actionable plans for new store openings, remodels, and concept evolution while resolving space constraints and inventory challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must reside within Los Angeles or San Diego, CA
- Associate's Degree in Business Management, Retail Management, Visual Merchandising
- 7 - 10 years of Management Experience
- Visual Merchandising Experience (preferably in softlines)
- A demonstrated understanding of customer and retail merchandising strategies
- Ability to be flexible and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines and working independently
- Strong problem-solving skills based on analytics
- Ability to demonstrate strong conflict management skills and negotiate to resolution
- Excellent training and facilitation skills
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Manage execution responsibilities and workload of direct reports to achieve department deliverables on-time and with quality
- Provide direct reports with timely and regular feedback to support associate development/ growth in role
- Establish succession plans (0-2 year horizon) within span of control and gain Director support; successfully deliver on proposed staffing objectives
- Drive talent selection process for open direct report positions
- Ensure all direct reports are appropriately trained and on-boarded
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
- AI tools are not permitted to be used by the candidate during any part of the interview process
- Offers are contingent upon a satisfactory background check which may include ID verification
