Job Summary
Perform on-site maintenance and repairs for production print equipment, diagnosing and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime. Conduct regular inspections, implement preventive maintenance procedures, and install, configure, and calibrate production print machinery for optimal performance. Collaborate closely with clients while delivering outstanding service and support, managing parts inventory and call logs to meet KPI targets. Lead referrals and assist with customer assessments and solution design, while seeking opportunities to improve territory parts budget and inventory control. Maintain accurate records, learn new technologies, and assist team members as required.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in servicing and repairing production print machinery
- Proficient in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting within a production print environment
- Familiarity with a variety of production print technologies and systems
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Own vehicle and possess valid insurance with appropriate coverage
- Must be available for afterhours work
- Must be available for weekend stays
- Must be able to travel within Canada
- Must provide and maintain valid travel documents at own expense
Desired Qualifications
- Certification of production systems
- Working knowledge of calibration and RIP configurations
- Installation and troubleshooting of basic printing and scanning solutions
- Knowledge of Microsoft OS peer to peer and client side of server environments
- Familiarity with printing from common business apps
- Basic understanding of solutions portfolio
- Excellent working knowledge of production systems
- Positive, outgoing, self-motivated and committed to building and maintaining strong customer relations
- Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse client environments
- 10% - based on technical expertise for mentoring and instruction
- Moderate Pre/Post Consulting Ability
- Requires limited assistance for more difficult problems
