Job Summary
Perform on-site maintenance and repairs for production print equipment, diagnosing and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime. Conduct regular inspections, implement preventive maintenance, and install, configure, and calibrate machinery for optimal performance. Collaborate with clients to deliver support while maintaining parts and call management records to meet KPI targets. Manage territory parts budget and inventory control, lead referrals, and assist with customer assessments and solution design. Travel within Canada, providing after-hours service where required.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in servicing and repairing production print machinery
- Proficient in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting within a production print environment
- Familiarity with a variety of production print technologies and systems
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently
- Valid travel documents
- Own vehicle
- Valid insurance with appropriate coverage
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Ability to work afterhours
- Ability to work on weekends
- Ability to work on standby
Desired Qualifications
- Install and troubleshooting of basic printing and scanning solutions
- Microsoft OS peer to peer and client side of server environments
- Familiar with printing from common business apps
- Basic understanding of solutions portfolio
- Excellent working knowledge and certification of production systems
- Working knowledge of calibration
- Working knowledge of RIP configurations
- Excellent verbal and written and interpersonal skills
