Job Summary
Field Service Technicians are responsible for service, testing, and maintenance of various power systems including low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems up to 500 kV. Responsibilities include inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing transformers and circuit breakers, along with performing tests on cable installations and power factor set tests. Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent experience, with additional experience and certifications required for higher-level positions. Strong knowledge of industry standards and safety procedures is essential, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with customers and peers. Relocation assistance is available for highly qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED and minimum 1 year experience for Field Tech
- High School diploma/GED and minimum 2 years experience and NETA Level II for Tech II
- High School diploma/GED and minimum 5 years experience and NETA Level III for Tech III
- Associate degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years or 10 years related experience and NETA Level IV for Tech IV
- 5 years experience in a related field for Sr. Tech
Desired Qualifications
- Experience filling and working with SF6 filled equipment and gas insulated switchgear
- Military training (Army Prime Power, Air Force Electrical Power Production, NAVY)
- All certifications related to electrical standards.

- Positions requiring a company vehicle must have a valid driver’s license.
