Job Summary
Senior Field Performance Technician responsible for managing, scheduling, and completing service and warranty work for solar field operations. Leads labor allocation with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor, and Branch Manager; participates in onboarding and training of field team; drives continuous improvement by leading regular meetings, monitoring KPIs (turnaround time, experience rating, dispatches completed), and conducting inspections/site audits as needed. Requires strong knowledge of NEC codes and PV systems, customer service excellence, ability to work independently and in a team, and a valid driver’s license. The role involves hands-on solar installation/maintenance work, field coordination, and ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- 21+ years of age
- Clean driving record
- Electrical Journeyman certification or license preferred
- PV design or PV electrical experience preferred
- Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
