Job Summary
Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule for the field performance team. Work with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor, and Branch Manager to allocate labor resources for service and warranty projects. Assist with training and development for Field Service and Field Communications Technicians, including onboarding new members and leading meetings to align the team on best practices. Regularly exceed defined goals for key performance indicators such as turnaround time, experience rating, and average dispatches completed. Perform assigned inspections and site audits while maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to company safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years of previous field construction or solar experience
- High School diploma
- Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check
- Must be 21 years of age
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards
- Must be a motivated team player, looking to succeed
- Proven track record of excellent customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to interpret single line drawings and PV systems from roof to meter
- Demonstrates knowledge of electrical principles as it pertains to solar interconnection/tie-in and code and how PV systems operate
- Understands interconnection activities
- Understands basic construction principles
- Ability to identify and report safety hazards
- Ability to encourage others to work safely
- Ability to establish rapport, build relationships and loyalty with external and internal customers and coworkers
- Remains tactful when communicating

- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including but not limited to: excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, wet environment, and humidity
- Ability to frequently utilize hand functions requiring fine motor skills, including but not limited to: fine manipulation, grasping, and pinching
- Ability to work within the safe range of equipment such as ladders, fall protection harnesses and other personal protective equipment
- Ability to work and maintain balance on roofs and other areas of height
- Ability to work in the sun and possibly low light conditions
- Ability to walk on rafters, roof tiles, and roof shingles without damage
- Ability to distinguish colors such as red, black, yellow, white, green
- Ability to work in confined spaces such as attics, basements, and crawl spaces which requires kneeling and crouching
- Ability to hear verbal commands and warnings
- Ability to work with chemicals using appropriate protections
Desired Qualifications
- PV design or PV electrical experience
- Valid state or local Electrical Journeyman certification or license
