Job Summary
Lead field engineering and project management for emerging-technology proof-of-concept initiatives, including prototyping, testing, and validating next-generation solutions in both lab and live environments. Serve as the on-site liaison for Lowe's Digital Experiences, partnering with store and supply chain associates to drive pilot execution, surface operational insights, and accelerate adoption of wearable devices and spatial computing platforms. Conduct technical demonstrations and executive briefings, evaluate products in real-world settings, and gather customer feedback to inform product discovery. Manage pilot timelines, stakeholder communication, and risk tracking while performing device configuration, updates, and troubleshooting for AI-enabled smart glasses. Requires up to 30% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, management information systems, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 5 years of experience in IT or a technology-focused business
- 5 years of experience supporting a core engineering team
- 4 years of experience supporting technology initiatives within retail store environments
- 1 year of experience supporting complex initiatives in product/agile model using JIRA or similar tools
- Must be able to travel up to 30%
- Must reside in a location other than Alaska, California, or Hawaii
- Must reside in a location other than Alaska or Hawaii (for salaried remote associates)
Desired Qualifications
- 4 years of experience influencing portfolio, program, or product teams
- Experience working in scaled agile environments
- Experience with business process improvement initiatives
- Experience supporting and deploying emerging technologies, including spatial computing, digital twin platforms, robotics, and other advanced connected systems
