Job Summary
Conduct technical problem resolution, function presentations, and product demonstrations for prospects and customers. Create and deliver live and on-demand technical content to support sales and marketing campaigns. Quickly grasp client technical and business challenges while establishing credibility with prospects, customers, and partners. Reduce the sales cycle by helping the Sales Team drive the process for assigned opportunities and accounts. Expand the sales pipeline within targeted accounts and serve as the main technical liaison for strategic and tactical planning. Drive adoption and values behind Altium's product portfolio by increasing subscription commitments and brand loyalty. Constantly expand technical knowledge by exploring technical content and the Altium product roadmap. Place Altium product capabilities strategically using knowledge of competitor products, features, and different technologies. Prioritize tasks and initiatives proactively without direct supervision while maintaining the willingness to travel with short notice.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, computer or related field
- 8+ years in pre-sales engineering, preferably in EDA or industrial software
- Must have the desire to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with passion and enthusiasm for Altium Corporate Goals, Visions, Products, and Solutions
- Must be proficient with Altium Designer or other PCB products (e.g. Pads or Allegro)
- Must be experienced in technical content creation, products demonstrations and presenting technical materials
- Must possess excellent group and interpersonal communication skills
- A solid understanding of PCB Design, Data Management, and Cloud Solutions
- Willingness and ability to travel with short notice
- Excellent English reading, writing, and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PCB Simulation & Analysis (SPICE, Signal Integrity, Power Integrity) is desirable
