Job Summary
Sr. Field Adjuster, Homeowner Claims in Northern CA. Investigate and settle homeowners’ property loss claims with low- to high-complexity elements, conducting in-field and virtual inspections, determining scope of repairs, and preparing repair bids using Xactimate. Owns the claims assigned at the Field Adjuster level, with potential progression to higher competency levels and possible coordination of independent adjuster work. Requires overseeing investigations of losses, coordinating with contractors/NRP when applicable, ensuring regulatory compliance, and communicating with insureds to reach settlement. Emphasis on experience handling property/personal property claims, travel within Northern CA, and a remote-first work setup with local travel responsibilities. Must have 6+ years related professional experience, 4+ years in homeowner claims, and a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree or higher may substitute for 2 years of experience. Visa sponsorship is not provided; ability to work legally in the US is required.
Required Qualifications

- 6+ years related professional experience
- 4+ years claims experience with preferred emphasis on homeowner claims
- Knowledge of Xactimate repair estimating system
- Knowledge of homeowner policies and procedures
- A valid driver’s license and insurable driving record or alternative transportation to safely transport large and/or heavy equipment between sites is required
