Sr. Facilities Technician - Data Center

Job Summary
Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance on data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure including UPS, generators, cooling systems, and emergency backup equipment to ensure 100% uptime. Diagnose system malfunctions, analyze operational data, and execute corrective actions while managing work orders through CMMS and vendor coordination. Adjust refrigeration, HVAC, and water systems as needed and comply with safety protocols for hazardous materials and emergency escalation procedures. Requires 4+ years of data center experience, ability to work varying schedules including holidays, and on-site presence in Odessa, TX.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years experience working in a data center/critical facility
- Experience with building systems, including: UPS systems, emergency generators, and switchgears
- Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills
- Working knowledge of computer applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Suite and CMMS
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb stairs and navigate rooftops to access equipment
- Must be able to use ladders up to 30 ft and work from heights
- Must be able to climb a ladder with a 300-lb weight limit
- Must be able to work different schedules
- Must be able to work Holidays
- Must be able to respond to site emergencies
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
