Job Summary
Coordinate with clients to understand dataset issues and determine optimal approaches for data-driven solutions within program guidelines. Lead the development of automated processes, architect data science solutions, and conduct analysis using available tools to identify patterns that solve complex DoD and Intelligence Community problems. Work with large structured and unstructured data to define streamline processes in evaluation environments, while collaborating with stakeholders to translate road maps into tasks and estimate timelines. Apply big data analytic tools and optimization models to deliver impactful insights for decision makers, perform peer reviews to improve workflow quality, and mentor team members to increase technical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI Government Clearance
- Ability to obtain a CI/Poly
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with Esri solutions such as Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and secure enterprise Esri portals such as Safehouse and ICGIS
- Senior-level proficiency in Python and its data science and visualization ecosystem, including Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Plotly, Dash, Bokeh, and related libraries
- Demonstrated understanding of GIS, data schemas, and the geo-referencing of information
- Knowledge of extraction and metadata specifications
- Knowledge of Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) architectures, best practices for data normalization, and performance tuning/optimization techniques
- Knowledge of enterprise geodatabases, such as Spatial Database Engines (SDEs)
- Knowledge of tools such as the ArcGIS Suite, ArcGIS Online, Portal, Excel, Access, and SQL for the storage, organization, and maintenance of spatial data
- Familiarity with ontology concepts as they relate to information systems, data modeling, and data relationships
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively as a team player across technical and mission-focused teams
- Knowledge of scripting languages, such as R or Python
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science or related technical field
- Experience developing and working with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML)
- Demonstrated experience of advanced programming techniques, using one or more of the following: HTML 5/Javascript, ArcObjects, Python, Model Builder, Oracle, SQL, GIScience, GeospatiavAnalysis, Statistics, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, Arc SDE, ArcIMS
- Experience using NET, Python, C++, and/or JAVA programming for web interface development and geodatabase development
- Experience building and maintaining databases of GEOINT, SIGINT, or OSINT data related to the area of interest needs
- Data Visualization Experience which may include Matrix Analytics, Network Analytics, Graphing Data that assist the analytical workforce in generating common operational pictures depicting fused intelligence and information to support informal assessments and finished products
