Job Summary
Sr. Executive - Packing role at Kimberly-Clark in Pune, India, responsible for end-to-end packing operations across high-speed automated Baby Care and Feminine Care production lines. Key duties include delivering on-time in-full SKU packing plans, managing machine allocation and maintenance, coordinating with departments for smooth operation, collecting data on machine output and wastage, maintaining MIS, controlling packing and materials waste, training staff in safe practices and quality systems, and supporting packaging development projects. The role also emphasizes safety, GMP/QMS compliance, continuous improvement, waste reduction, and cross-functional collaboration to sustain product quality and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Support end-to-end manufacturing operations for 5 high-speed, fully automated Baby Care and Feminine Care production lines, ensuring continuous 24x7 plant operations, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.
- Enable pan-country product supply by managing a dynamic, high-change production environment, while driving compliance with SOPs, process discipline, and operational consistency in a high workforce turnover setup.
- Safety (10%) – Ensure adherence to safety codes, policies, and KC guidelines while maintaining a safe workplace culture. Conduct regular safety audits, trainings, and GEMBA observations to identify risks, eliminate unsafe acts/conditions, and drive zero-injury outcomes.
- Quality (25%) – Ensure strict compliance with QMS and GMP standards to deliver safe, high-quality products that meet and exceed customer expectations. Monitor defect rates, quarantine defective products, and sustain audit readiness to minimize customer complaints and ensure product integrity.
- Packing Operations Management (30%) – Plan and manage packing operations to ensure on-time, in-full SKU delivery aligned with business requirements. Drive machine performance, manpower utilization, SOP adherence, and cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Productivity & Waste KPIs (25%) – Lead initiatives to improve packing efficiency, reduce material wastage, and optimize operational performance. Implement time studies, manpower optimization, machine health improvements, and process enhancements to achieve consistent productivity gains.
- Cost Transformation & Innovation (10%) – Support and implement cost-saving and continuous improvement projects across material, process, and manpower. Contribute to innovation and packaging development projects, focusing on cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and margin enhancement.
