Sr. Estimator

Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, and mechanical construction scopes, with primary emphasis on piping and mechanical systems. Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and equipment pricing using Trimble Accubid and Microsoft Excel. Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to ensure accurate and complete estimates. Collaborate with project management, engineering, and construction teams to validate assumptions and execution strategies. Develop pricing for lump sum, unit rate, and time-and-materials proposals. Develop construction schedules in Microsoft Project. Analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes, ensuring alignment with project scope and estimating standards. Identify project risks, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities. Support bid reviews, estimate reconciliations, and post-bid handoff meetings. Maintain estimating databases, historical cost data, and productivity benchmarks.
