Job Summary
Sr. Electrical Estimator responsible for quantitative takeoffs on construction projects, reading bid documents, identifying areas for value engineering cost savings, leading personnel preparing discipline sub estimates, developing labor productivity and installation unit costs, preparing detailed material/equipment lists and obtaining quotes, and supporting junior estimators in pricing with subcontractors and vendors. The role also involves soliciting quotes from qualified suppliers/subcontractors, drafting scope/proposal letters, and leading turnover meetings with operations through the pre-con phase, with a focus on maintaining project files and utilizing the Rosendin approved estimating program. Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of electrical estimating experience and strong skills with 3D software, Bluebeam, and/or Accubid.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years Electrical Estimating experience
- Bachelors Degrees preferred but not required
- Strong computer skills including 3D software, Bluebeam, and/or Accubid
