Job Summary
Sr. Electrical Estimator responsible for developing accurate cost estimates for electrical installation projects up to $40M+, producing budgets and Bills of Materials, and preparing Invitations to Bid. Identifies labor, material, and time requirements from proposals, drawings, and narratives; prices value-engineered items; provides bid strategy input to senior leadership; drafts proposal letters; attends pre-bid meetings and job walks; maintains bid notes and RFI/addendum updates; reviews subcontractor/vendor quotes; collaborates with project teams on turnover and handoff for awarded jobs. Proficiency with Accubid, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office is required; travel to client meetings is expected. This role is established as Full-Time with a remote working arrangement; education includes a high school diploma or GED with a preferred BS in Engineering/Construction Management, and a minimum of 7-10 years of electrical estimating experience on large-scale projects.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar studies is preferred
- 7-10 years of electrical estimating experience on projects in excess of $10M
- Extensive working knowledge of Accubid estimating software
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Bluebeam is preferred
- Willingness to travel to job walks, pre-bid meetings, and client conferences
