Job Summary
Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician for Thin Films/Diffusion/PVD/CVD in a high-volume semiconductor environment. Lead advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across PVD/CVD toolsets; own tool performance, downtime reduction, and recurring issue resolution. Drive root-cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions with cross-functional collaboration; mentor junior technicians; execute preventative/predictive maintenance; maintain thorough documentation; support cross-functional Fab operations; requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with AMAT Centura/Endura/Producer, SVG Thermco furnaces, and related equipment; 11.75-hour night shifts on alternating 3- and 4-day schedule; associates degree preferred; salary range $38k-$53k with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience
- Demonstrated expertise with AMAT Centura, Endura, Producer toolsets, SVG Thermco furnaces, Aviza HTO Vertical Furnace, AST 2800 RTA Diffusion equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical proficiency
- Proficiency with digital tools for documentation and communication (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to lead within a team environment and collaborate cross-functionally
- Military technical experience or formal technical education is a plus
- Associates Degree in Electronics/Mechatronics preferred
