Sr. Equipment Associate

Job Summary
Perform manual labor-intensive tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting rental equipment via a small delivery truck. Supervise Equipment Associates while assisting Service Technicians and sales staff with customer checkout, demonstrations, and inquiries. Inspect returned machines for damage, hours, mileage, fuel levels, and safety compliance, then report conditions to the Counter Person or Service Manager for billing. Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and is ready for rental. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 45 lbs, and familiarity with winch operations. This safety-sensitive role supports branch operations at United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Minimum 1 – 2 years related experience
- Effective communication, multi-tasking and strong teamwork skills
- Diligent attention to safety
- Superior customer service skills
- Knowledge of winch operations
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
