Job Summary
Senior Healthcare Information Data Scientist analyzes complex, high-dimensional data to design, configure, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms. Leads exploratory data analysis, builds data pipelines around EHR and clinical information systems, and communicates findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Responsibilities include documenting and training analysts and super users, coordinating hardware installation/support, leading project-oriented workstreams, and ensuring timely delivery of tasks. Requires independent judgment, strong programming capabilities, and familiarity with BI/data analysis tools, server/IT operations, and vendor collaboration to meet clinical and business needs in a healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree Business Administration/Management
- 3-5 years computer programming experience
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems
- Experience in data analysis, data mining, and statistics/mathematics
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience supporting EHR or clinical/business information system configurations and report build/distribution
