Job Summary
Senior Epic Data Scientist-Clinical responsible for designing and evaluating predictive models and advanced algorithms from complex healthcare data, supporting EHR/clinical information system configurations and report building, training analysts, and coordinating hardware support. Role involves exploratory data analysis, developing scalable data pipelines, documenting designs, and communicating results to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requires deep expertise in SQL, data modeling, data mining, and familiarity with Epic Systems and clinical workflows; expects on-call availability and collaboration with vendors and clinical/business leaders to ensure system alignment with ML/clinical goals.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree Business Administration/Management Required
- Bachelor's Degree Computer sciences Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Data Science
- 3-5 years Computer programming
- Good balance of operational experience, project management skills
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Programming and data modeling
- Experience with data analysis and data mining
- EHR and clinical information systems experience
- Strong communication to both technical and non-technical audiences
- On-call support capability
- Licenses/Certifications EPIC Systems related certifications listed
